  • Outdoor Faucets Maintenance

Make sure water flows freely; if it drips or leaks inside the house, it is most likely you had a frozen pipe that has cracked and needs replacing.
  • Emergency Shut-Off Valves

It is important to know the location of your homes main water supply line valve before an emergency occurs. Also, each fixture (toilet, faucet) should have a shut-off valve located beneath or near them to turn off water supply in case of a leak.
  • How to fix a sweaty toilet.

If you have condensation on your toilet tank this can cause damage to the toilet, surface area around the toilet and lead to greater problems in the future. Some approaches you could consider; insulate the inside of the tank, install a new low-flow toilet, change water temperature, and/or install an anti-sweat valve.
  • Sump Pump

This is the time of year to make sure your sump pump is operating properly. Pour a few buckets of water into the sump pit. The pump should quickly turn on, discharge the water then shut off without any problems. All sump pumps should be equipped with a check valve to prevent back flow.
  • Our New Location

In the fall of 2013, Mitchco changed our location to Traveller's Rest area. Our new location provides suitable upgraded facilities/equipment, with room to expand. This will improve our customer service and grow our manufacturing business.
